Berry Lonely II - Watercolor by Christiane Kingsley

Berry Lonely II
A 5" X 7" watercolor. I am really having a lot of fun painting these strawberries - each one  seems to have  its own personality:-) People seem to really like them also because the berries look so realistic with all their seeds and highlights. This one is called Berry Lonely II - a variation of Berry Lonely I that is sold. It is shown here  double matted in white with a black inner mat that really sets the stage for this lonely lady. It will fit your standard 8" X10" frame. Mat comes with the painting.

  1. Christiane, this is a lovely piece. The shadows are very beautiful and of course the strawberry itself is perfect. I've been perusing through your gallery and your work is terrific:)

  3. Luscious, even if she is lonely. Christiane, you do such gorgeous realism. I like that the strawberries and the cherries in your previous post look so good you want to eat them, and you combine that with some lovely suggestive work as you've done in the shadow. No wonder these sell well!
